John Foxx & Louis Gordon Subterranean Omnidelic Exotour

Sound quality is 'A'.

Limited to 500 this was sold on tour in 1998, notes from Johns site

"Notes : This CD first went on sale at The Bierkellar in Bristol on the first date of John and Louis' 1998 UK tour. Taking the idea of Exotour a stage further. This album was strictly limited to only 500 hand-numbered copies, which soon sold out on John and Louis' highly successful 1998 UK tour."

Format : Compact Disc
Catalogue Number : META 0004CD
Label : MetaMatic Records
Release Date : 15 April 1998
Country : United Kingdom

I didn't buy this on tour, I wish, I bought it after the fact as a copy of the original by the owner.

Fecking awesome recordings on here, great reworkings on the Ultravox tracks.

I've enjoyed Foxx's music since Ultravox, I bought a vinyl press of Metamatic in like 1983 and have bought 3 different cd reissues of the lp since. Foxx hit a dancey period
mid 80s that I didn't care for and then left music for a while.

He came back in 1997 with 2 stunning lps, Cathedral Oceans an ambient work that rates nicely and Shifting City which to me was/is an excellent album. He continues on to date issuing a few lp recently in late 08 that I've yet to find the cash to pick up.

2 part post.

Wow.
Never would have known this even existed, love it, thankyou so much not only for this but for your informative blog (keep it up man) one of those little pieces of gold you just happen on occassionally.
Lol, I remember buying an old fashioned double breasted waistcoat and been a Foxx wannabe. The guy never got the full recognition he deserved despite all the effort.

Can't wait to hear the 1983 show with Foxx and Robin Simon.
