Wall Of Voodoo the Good the Bad the Ugly Americans (Rare & Unreleased)

Wall Of Voodoo the Good the Bad the Ugly Americans (Rare & Unreleased)

Sound quality is 'A' & 'B' depending on the track.

Note: due to mediafires free user policy of 100megs per file this will be a 2 zip file post.

Pretty good bootleg compilation, I've seen it under a different name but same stuff, not a complete b sides collection but some rare stuff none the less. Does include my personal favorite version of Back In Flesh from Urgh A Music War. Also includes a lot of songs the band only played live.

Does get into the post Ridgeway period which I never did get into. Once Standard left the band they just lost it to me.

Includes the rare Funzone, a track that wasn't ever put on an official release and all sources I know of are live. Includes 2 different sources.

Wall Of Voodoo Live LA Valley College March 27th 1982

Wall Of Voodoo Live LA Valley College March 27th 1982

Sound quality is 'B', granted a nice clear 'B'.

This is a nice sounding recording, I'd have rated it an 'A' if it wasn't a little on the bassy side in relation to the clearness of the recording.

Note: the Big Heat was never released by WoV but instead was a song Standard took with him on his solo career and eventually released it him self.

Wall Of Voodoo Take Me To Your Leader (the 78 & 79 Demos)

Wall Of Voodoo Take Me To Your Leader (the 1978 & 1979 Demos)

Sound quality is 'B', granted a nice clear 'B'.

WoV originally wanted to make music for sci fi, b movies and porn movies. So here are the 1978 & 1979 demos, at this time they were trying to come out of the movie music phase and into a more band element. You can hear aspects of songs that later became WoV
classics and you can also hear how one might want to put some of this stuff into a sci fi horror b movie.
